On October 11th the second Austrian AAL Practice Conference took place in Graz at the Medical University. The AAL Practice Conference took place within the framework of the Network Ageing Medicine on the topic of “Active and healthy ageing”. Another focus of the practice conference was the opportunities and barriers of AAL solutions based on practical experiences of different companies and industries. exthex GmbH also gave a short lecture on its AAL product Emma and reported on current research. DAPAS was presented here as a good example of a great opportunity to test AAL products on a large scale in practice to learn more about the habits and user behavior of the older generation. The DAPAS project was also presented to a large number of people and experts from the branch of Health Care and AAL at the Emma – flexible life assistance booth.
The second part of the event was held at the GGZ (Geriatric Health Centre in Graz). Also at this part of the event exthex GmbH presented the AAL solutions Emma as well as new and current research topics and projects.
